Lambda Recruitment
A specialist recruiter, positioned against the generalists.

The problem
Recruitment sites all look alike and all say the same thing, which pushes every conversation onto price. A specialist agency's entire margin comes from being read as a specialist rather than a generalist.
The solution
The niche is stated in the first line — public practice accounting, graduate to partner — so a generalist visitor self-selects out and a specialist one recognises themselves immediately. Candidate and employer paths are separated at the top rather than merged into a single contact form.
The result
A site that qualifies its own traffic, with distinct routes for a candidate looking for a role and a firm looking to hire.
01
Overview
Lambda Recruitment is a Melbourne-based recruitment agency specialising in public practice accounting, placing candidates from graduate level through to partner across accounting firms nationwide, from boutique practices to Big Four.
02
Context
Two audiences with opposite anxieties. A candidate is worried about confidentiality and being treated as a CV. A hiring partner is worried about wasted time and a shortlist that misses the brief.
03
Challenge
Recruitment is a commodity category in visitors' minds. Without an immediate signal of specialisation, the agency is compared on fee percentage against firms that do something entirely different.
04
Approach
State the niche in the first line and let it disqualify people. Separate the candidate and employer journeys at the top of the site rather than merging them into one contact form. Use placed-candidate testimonials as the proof both audiences read — the candidate for reassurance, the employer for evidence of quality.
